STREET
“All the technique in the world doesn’t compensate for the inability to notice.”
-Elliott Erwitt
Street and travel photography were the first disciplines I pursued after I got my first camera. They allow me the opportunity to pursue a new way of looking at my surroundings. Whether in my home town or somewhere I’m visiting, setting off on a walk, camera slung over my shoulder, gives me permission to linger longer, look deeper, and hopefully find a more intense connection with the city I’m in at that moment.
I draw inspiration from Daidō Moriyama, Sean Tucker, MagS, Andre D. Wagner-Freeman, and countless others.
